Why an upload failed

Uploads are rejected for a small number of specific reasons. Match the message you saw.
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| This file type is not supported | Convert to .mp4, .mov, .mp3, .m4a, .docx or .pdf. The message lists the accepted formats. |
| PDF files must be 500 MB or smaller | Split the PDF, or export a lighter version. |
| PDF uploads are not enabled | The format is switched off for your account. Contact support. |
| Already exists in your library | A file with that name is already there. Rename it, or use the existing upload. |
| Upload Limit Reached | You've used your annual media hours or text pages. Select View Plans to upgrade. |
| Cancelled or Failed | The transfer didn't complete. Upload the file again. |
Unsupported files are rejected before the upload begins, so a file that fails this check uses none of your allowance.
