Voices, captions and translations

Text documents are turned into audio so they can be played like any other content. Video and audio uploads get captions. Both can be translated, depending on your plan.
Choosing a voice
A voice only applies to text documents, where TruGuide generates the audio. Voice settings live on the player: set them when creating or editing a player. Use Preview voice to hear each one before choosing.

Captions
English captions are always included. You can also select languages for automatic caption translation; how many depends on your plan.

If you try to select more languages than your plan allows, the console tells you the limit and offers an upgrade.
Audio translation
Translating the spoken audio itself, not just the captions, is an Enterprise feature. Contact sales if you need it.
Translations add processing time. Expect an upload with several caption languages to take noticeably longer to reach Completed.
