Add a call-to-action button to a player

A call-to-action (CTA) is a button shown inside the player that sends viewers wherever you choose — a sign-up page, a course, a product, a booking link.

CTAs are available on Core and above. On the Free plan the CTA section is not available.

Setting it up

1. Open the player and go to the CTA Button section
2. Enter a Button Label — the words on the button
3. Enter the Button URL it should open
4. Save

The button appears in every clip in this player.

Player CTA vs upload CTA

A CTA set on a player applies to that player only, and it overrides any CTA button settings attached to the individual uploads it plays. Use the player-level CTA when you want one consistent action for everything that player shows.

Promo image

Add a promo image to strengthen the CTA. It appears at the end of each playlist on a CTA card, together with an intelligent summary of what the viewer just watched and the CTA button. You can supply a separate horizontal version for mobile.
